SU Foundation Professional Development Grant
The SU Foundation, Inc., appropriates, annually, a percentage of its net earnings to foster activities in the area of professional development and program development to benefit our students.
A formal rubric and guidelines have been adopted by the Executive Committee of the Foundation and are presented for your information. All funds are administered by the Grants & Scholarships Committee of the Foundation.
Who can apply?
- Full-time faculty and full-time professional staff at the assistant director’s level or above
- Full-time professional staff not at the assistant director’s level or above may apply with written approval by their direct supervisor (please note documentation of approval is required and must be uploaded with your application)
Professional Development should support professional and program development to benefit our students in the following categories:
- Conference/Seminar Presentation
- Research activity
- Attendance at Conference/Seminar
- Event, Production, Program
The Grants & Scholarships Committee review and award applications biannually as follows:
- The first grant cycle is awarded in August (typically for fall and winter grant requests)
- The second grant cycle is awarded in February (typically for spring and summer grant requests)
