I believe that the best teachers are those who can take complicated concepts and initially break them down to their simplest level, before expanding on them in greater depth. This is what I strive to do, especially in my weather and climate courses.
My greatest service activity was serving as Chair of the Department of Geography and Geosciences for 12 years. I am also serving my second term as Associate Chair of the Department.
